Our fairness charter

VillaVerify only works if people trust it. We are run by a company that also rents villas, so we hold ourselves to these public commitments, and you can hold us to them.

1. Anchored to the official registers

Our licence checks are based on the official public tourist-licence registers of the Balearic islands. We don't decide who is legitimate; the register does. We simply make it easier to read, and we always show the date our copy was last updated.

2. The same standard for everyone, including us

VillaVerify is an independent project by Balearic Waves SL, the company behind Domundos. That brand is checked, listed and badged by exactly the same rules as every other operator. We give ourselves no special treatment, and we say plainly who we are.

3. The verdict is never for sale

A licence match, a "Verified" badge, or a place in our directory cannot be bought. If we ever charge for convenience features, they will never include the verdict itself. Money can never change what our check says about a listing.

4. Fair to the businesses we list

Operators can claim their listing to correct details, and can contact us to challenge anything we show. We link to operators' own sites without passing them search ranking, and we never publish an accusation against a named business or person without documented evidence, a chance to reply, and human review.

5. Honest about our limits

Our checks are automated and can be wrong or out of date. We say so on every result. We are not a government body and not a guarantee. We are a first line of defence that helps you ask the right questions before you pay.

6. Privacy-respecting

We check what you ask us to check. We don't require an account, we don't sell personal data, and we store only what we need to run the service. See our Privacy Policy.
